Nigerians have been urged to rally around President Bola Tinubu to address key socio-economic challenges faced by the country.
This call was made by the deputy Senate president, Jibrin Barau, during the inauguration of the distribution of palliatives to his constituents.
The exercise commenced with the distribution of 23,000 bags of 25kg of rice to beneficiaries drawn from local governments in Kano State.
Barau noted that the hardship experienced by Nigerians is not peculiar to the country but a global problem.
According to the deputy Senate president, when a country is going through a difficult phase, the citizens rally around their leaders to address them.
Barau also assured that as the chairman of the palliatives distribution committee for the sub-region, he would ensure equitable distribution of the commodities.
