As the 2023 election inches closer, the Deputy Director of New Media and Member of the Information and Communications Technology (ICT) and Election Management Committee of the Bola Tinubu/Kashim Shetima Grassroots Independent Campaign Council, Adamu Garba, has said that the southeast region is not playing its politics right.
In a recent interview on Arise TV, monitored by POLITICS NIGERIA, Garba said majority of southeast indigenes do not usually align with the popular belief.
“The Southeast is doing bad politics. Politics is participation, nobody can drag you to come and participate,” Garba, a former presidential aspirant, said.
“You must participate, you must be at the table. But in a situation whereby the government and the people are saying let’s go West, you decided you want to go to the East. When we are saying okay, let’s go to the East, you decided you want to go to the North, then it means you are doing something wrong.”
Because the prefer voting one they believe is competent. That’s bad politics?
That’s to show that they don’t depend on you, rather than the one they believed that will respect equity, fairness and justice.
They don’t want to be pushed around because u feel u are on top. That is what it called integrity.
That to show they are politicians with integrity not pushed around because u feel u are on top. They follow who they know believes in fairness, equity and justice.
The Institution of Obaship is sacrosanct and must be respected. However, when they refuse to honor/ respect themselves, they should be treated any how.
The southeast region understood that in politics they’ve been cheated for long in Nigeria by the combined duo of southwest and the north in general which they know a systematic design have been in place not to allow igbos rule Nigeria and so you don’t expect them the igbos to align with you any further to keep cheating them. For fairness, equity, Justice and sense of belonging southwest and Tinubu should have no business contesting for presidency at this time as it is a must turn for southeast region and Atiku Abubakar shouldn’t have worked with PDP and north to deny southeast the PDP presidential Ticket while cajoling them

When the proper history of Nigeria will be written, Mr Bola Ahmed Tinubu, Dr Rabiu Musa Kwankwaso (NNPP candidate) and their supporters, including Adamu Garba, Femi-Fani Kayode, Chief Olu Falaye (the former SGF), Pa Fasoranti, inter alia, will be remembered as those who do not believe in fairness, justice, equity and impartiality; as those who do not believe in live and let live, who do not believe in doing unto others as they were nationalistically treated by other fair-minded Nigerians, as those who do not believe in what is good for the goose is also good for the gander, and as those who do not believe in the truthful and time-honoured Rotary 4-Way Test of the things we think, say, support and do. As I patriotically write this response, the current President is from North-West Zone, and the current Vice President is from the South-West. So, where goeth your senses of equity, fairness and justice? Dr Elendu, the Zikist, is a faithful and steadfast OBIdient and Yusuful partner in the movement for a better Nigeria. Yes, a new and better Nigeria is POssible.
