An Ogudu Magistrates’ Court, Lagos, on Thursday ordered that a man, Abiola Bamisaye, 20, who pleaded guilty to stealing an Infinix Hot VIII phone be remanded, pending sentence
Bamisaye pleaded guilty to conspiracy and theft.
Magistrate O.A, Daodu adjourned the case until March 8 for review of facts and sentencing
Earlier, the Prosecution Counsel, Insp Sunday Bassey told the court that the defendant committed the offence on Feb. 7 at about 7p.m. at Ketu Bus Stop in Lagos.
Bassey said Bamisaye attacked the complainant, Miss Adenimpe Ipadeola and snatched the cell phone worth N70,000 from her hand.
The prosecutor said the offence contravened the provisions of sections 287 and 411 of the Criminal Law of Lagos State, 2015.
