Man United vs Everton: “It doesn’t look well” – Ten Hag speaks on Rashford’s injury

Manchester United manager, Erik ten Hag has said the injury sustained by his club’s star forward, Marcus Rashford in Saturday’s win over Everton “doesn’t look well”.

United moved back into third place in the English Premier League (EPL), after claiming a 2-0 victory against Everton at Old Trafford.

Goals from Scott McTominay and Anthony Martial saw Ten Hag’s side move six points clear of fifth-placed Tottenham Hotspur and three ahead of Newcastle United, before the rest of the weekend fixtures.

Rashford has been Man United’s best player since the 2022 World Cup, but was forced to limp off after stretching to try to reach a pass from a teammate in the second half.

“We have to wait, it doesn’t look well. Once again, it is due to the schedule… we’ve to protect our players”, Ten Hag told BT Sport after the game.

“You cannot play 3 games in 6 days.”
