Former Vice President Atiku Abubakar has sent a message of encouragement to Nigerian workers. The message is to commemorate the 2020 workers’ day celebration amidst the Coronavirus pandemic.
Mr Abubakar, in his tweet on Friday, gave kudos to workers especially those in the health sector for their hard work to tackle the spread of the deadly virus.
“We cannot thank you enough”, he wrote on Twitter.
“This year, #WorkersDay is in the middle of a health pandemic.
“Therefore, I believe it is appropriate to express my utmost gratitude to our health workers who have been leading the battle to contain the spread of the coronavirus in our country. We cannot thank you enough. -AA”
