Moment Vice President Osinbajo Phoned Guinness World Record Hopeful Hilda Baci [PHOTOS/VIDEO]

Vice President Osinbajo has joined the list of notable individuals encouraging Hilda Effiong Bassey, also known as Hilda Baci, as she attempts the Guinness World Record for the longest time cooking nonstop.

POLITICS NIGERIA reports that Baci, popularly known as the “Nigerian Jollof Queen”, started the event at Amore Gardens in Lekki on Thursday at 4 p.m. The cook-a-thon is expected to last for four consecutive days, with Baci taking an hour break after every 12 hours of cooking. Her goal is to cook for an impressive 93 hours, a feat that has never been achieved before.

Baci is an actress, TV producer, and talented chef who has showcased her culinary skills on various television cook shows. She aims to put Nigeria on the global culinary map by breaking the Guinness World Record of 87 hours, 45 minutes, and 00 seconds set by Chef Lata Tondon in Rewa, India, in 2019.

Recall that Governor Sanwo-Olu also paid a visit to the venue to encourage the foodpreneur.

The cooking marathon is not only about breaking records but also features celebrity visitations, networking, games, and brand activations, making it an exciting and engaging event for foodies and enthusiasts.

This newspaper learnt that Baci has spent at least 70 hours showcasing her culinary skills using various local and intercontinental recipes, demonstrating her expertise and determination.
