Super Eagles of Nigeria captain, Ahmed Musa has denied rumour making rounds on social media that he has been tested alongside his family members for the deadly Coronavirus pandemic.
Mr Musa took to twitter to debunk what he tagged fake news.
He wrote: “Pls ignore any false news about me or testing positive to Covid 19. We are self isolating for 14 days as we just got in from Saudi Arabia as the law stipulates. Stay safe! Maintain social distance. AVOID FAKE NEWS!

Nigeria has been through a roller coaster of emotion since the outbreak of the disease in February.
Amidst the spread of the disease, many fake news peddlers continue to share various misinformation on social media.

As of the time of writing this report, there are 873 confirmed cases of #COVID19 reported in Nigeria. While 197 have been discharged, the country has recorded 28 deaths.
