American rapper Nicki Minaj has praised U.S. President Donald Trump for designating Nigeria as a “Country of Particular Concern” over reports of religious persecution.

The rapper also applauded United States President Donald Trump and his administration for designating Nigeria as a “Country of Particular Concern” over violations of religious freedom.

In a post shared on X on Saturday, Minaj expressed gratitude for living in a country where individuals are free to worship.

She emphasised that no one should ever be targeted because of their faith.

She further noted that many nations are currently facing severe religious oppression and urged the public not to overlook these injustices.

Minaj wrote: “Reading this made me feel a deep sense of gratitude. We live in a country where we can freely worship God.

“No group should ever be persecuted for practising their religion. We don’t have to share the same beliefs to respect one another.

“Numerous countries around the world are being affected by this horror, and it’s dangerous to pretend we don’t notice.

“Thank you to the President and his team for taking this seriously. God bless every persecuted Christian. Let us remember to lift them in prayer.”
