Niger Delta group insists Kuku, others sponsoring media attacks against Tompolo

The leadership of the Niger Delta Environmental Justice Coalition on Monday, March 31, insisted that Kingsley Kuku, a former administrator of the Presidential Amnesty Programme (PAP) and other agitators are responsible for the media campaigns against Dennis Otuaro, the current administrator of the PAP and Tantita Chairman, Government Tompolo.

Abalagha Adawari, the coalition’s spokesperson alleged that Kuku alongside his allies like Bibopre Ajube, known as General Shoot at Sight, and Chief Ebikabowei Victor-Ben (aka Boyloaf) have been instrumental to the destabilization and attack on Tompolo.

Also alleging that Kuku and his team are focused on damaging the image of

Otuaro, the coalition said history cannot be rewritten.

Adawari highlighted that under the leadership of Kuku, oil production in the Niger Delta region experienced an all-time low.

He noted that, on the contrary, since assuming office as PAP’s administrator, Otuaro has eradicated corruption and inefficiency within the system.

Further accusing Kuku and his team of being jealous of the achievements of

Otuaro and Tompolo, the coalition said both men have carried themselves with grace.

“While Tompolo has built something for himself through the establishment of Tantita, a private security firm employing and empowering many Niger Delta youths, some of the agitators have nothing to show for it except trying to disrupt the peace being enjoyed in the Niger Delta.

“Dr Otuaro’s administration is aligned with President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s vision to rehabilitate ex-militants and create sustainable job opportunities for the youth in the Niger Delta, thus contributing to the President’s agenda for poverty alleviation.

The coalition also highlighted that just last year, 2,500 ex-agitators graduated and have now been successfully deployed, impacting Niger Delta,” Adawari said.

He further called on the team to desist from the consistent media attack on Otuaro and Tompolo.
