A female lecturer at Ahmadu Bello University, Zaria (ABU), was caught on camera being emotional after she was proposed to by a male student, identified as Big Bantin.
POLITICS NIGERIA reports that the video, which has since gone viral on TikTok, shows Bantin approaching the lecturer and presenting her with flowers.
The lecturer, who appeared to be surprised by the gesture, accepted the flowers and began to tear up. The crowd of onlookers cheered and urged the lecturer to say yes to Bantin’s proposal.
It is not clear whether the proposal was serious or not, but the video has captured the attention of many people on the social media platform TikTok.
