The Imo State Police Command has reacted to an incident where a police officer, Chibuike Ukazu, and his alleged gay partner, Yellow, were rescued from being lynched over alleged homosexuality. The Special Anti-robbery Squad (SARS) of the Nigerian police in Ogun, has reacted to the death of Seyi Akinade, a student of Federal University of Agriculture Abeokuta, who committed suicide in the early hours of Wednesday. In an interview with our correspondent on Wednesday evening, Tijani Mohammed, the Officer-in-Charge of SARS operatives in the state, expressed shock at the news of Akinade’s death.
10. Taraba Government arrests 134 travellers at Entry Points
The COVID-19 Committee in Taraba State announced the arrest of 134 travellers at various entry points into the state on Wednesday.
