Nigerian soldiers have uncovered a secret detention facility used by militant Islamist group, Boko Haram.
POLITICS NIGERIA learnt that the prison was discovered recently by joint troops of the Special Forces Brigade at BUK, Sambisa forest, Borno State, northeast region.
The facilities constructed with huge iron locks and hooks were used to torture civilians, and imprison servicemen abducted on the highways by the terrorists.
There were separate cells and torture rooms for ‘erring’ insurgents who have been accused of different offences by their associates.
Also, there was also a facility for kidnapped humanitarian and government workers – categorised as ‘special abductees’.
