‘Nigerians are to blame for their electoral choices’, Apostle Suleman speaks on Tinubu’s administration

Apostle Johnson Suleman, the senior pastor of the Omega Fire Ministries has said that Nigerians deserve whatever challenges they are facing in the current President Bola Tinubu’s administration.

The cleric said that the challenges and growing hardship across the country is a result of the poor decisions made by Nigerians during the 2023 presidential election.

Speaking while visiting Governor Bala Mohammed during a two-day Recovery Conference 2025” in Bauchi State, Suleman said Nigerians are to blame for their electoral choices.

He said, “What Nigerians are going through is partly what they deserve. Before the election, we cried out, we screamed, we yelled. The man (President Bola Tinubu) who came into leadership had no manifesto – just a sense of entitlement with his ‘it’s my turn’ mantra.”

He Tinubu’s poor policy decisions and the mismanagement of the Nigeria’s oil sector in the past 15 years has done a lot of damage on the nation and the people.

“I don’t think Nigerians will recover from the damage. Now, all we can do is pray,” Apostle Suleman said.

He added that unles Nigerians have suffered enough, they are bound to make similar mistakes at the poll in 2027.

“If they’ve suffered enough by then, perhaps they’ll make better decisions,” he said.
