Some Nigerians have donated over N15 million to support the wife of late rapper Mohbad and his five-month-old boy, Liam.
US-based Nigerian artiste and music producer Samklef announced this.
Samklef on Monday shared an update on his official Instagram profile, showing a Whatsapp snapshot of how much Nigerians have raised for Mohbad’s son so far.
He wrote: “Here is the total money raised as at this morning for Mohbad’s son. N15,567,300.
“God bless you all for all you do and for fighting for Imole; he was an Angel among us. #justiceformohbad”
Meanwhile, Lagos state governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu has invited the Department of State Security to join in probing the death of Mohbad.
The governor also appealed to the fans of the late rapper to exercise patience until investigations are concluded.
