The leader of the Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB), Nnamdi Kanu has apologised to Justice Binta Nyako and other judges who he might have verbally attacked during his prolonged trial at the Federal High Court.
Represented by his new lawyer, a former Attorney General of the Federation and Minister of Justice, Kanu Agabi, Kanu also apologised to the management of the Federal High Court and the Federal Government’s lawyer, Awomolo (SAN).
He tendered his sincere apologies to his entire legal team especially Aloy Ejimakor for his verbal attack on them while standing before Justice Binta Nyako.
Agabi upon resumption of Kanu’s trial on Friday, March 21, sought the court’s permission to deliver an important message on behalf of the IPOB leader – his client.
The former AGF said he had already discussed his client’s position with the prosecution lawyer and Justice Omotosho.
Recall that Kanu’s trial was fixed for March 21, for a fresh start after his case file was transferred from the tables of Justice Binta Nyako to that of Justice Omotosho.
Also, the IPOB leader had also employed the services of Kanu Agabi to head his already existing legal team, previously headed by Aloy Ejimakor.
