Aloy Ejimakor, a legal counsel to Nnamdi Kanu, the embattled leader of the Indigenous People of Biafra, IPOB, has weighed on the release of Yoruba Nation activist, Sunday Adeyemo a.k.a Sunday Igboho.
POLITICS NIGERIA earlier reported that Igboho was released from a Benin Republic Prison on Monday evening to attend to his health problems. He was released to fellow Yoruba Nation leader, Prof. Banji Akintoye.
Ejimakor, in a tweet shortly after, declared that Igboho’s release was ‘proof’ that self-determination is not a crime.
“The release of Igboho by Benin Republic has validated the universal law that #SelfDetermination is neither a crime, nor an extraditable offense. If it is, Igboho would’ve been extradited to Nigeria.”
“If Nigeria fails to reverse its injustice to #NnamdiKanu, its Courts must.”
