Nnamdi Kanu’s Trial: What IPOB members must do on Monday – Adeyanju

Activist, Deji Adeyanju has called on all members of the proscribed Indigenous People of Biafra, IPOB to storm the premises of a Federal high Court in Abuja on Monday to support their leader, Nnamdi Kanu.

Adeyanju in a statement via Twitter disclosed that that Nigerians have the right to attend the trial of people they support and believe in. he admonished Kanu’s supporters not be afraid to storm the court and show solidarity on Monday.

It will be recalled that Kanu was re-arrested earlier this month and arraigned before Justice Binta Nyarko who remanded him in the custody of the Department of State Security, DSS. Kanu is to be brought before her on Monday in continuation of his trial for Treasonable felony, illegal possession of Firearms and other charges.

Adeyanju tweeted; “I appeal to Nnamdi Kanu’s supporters to flood the Federal High Court in Abuja on Monday as they begin his trial.”

“That is the language Buhari understands. Don’t let anyone scare you. Citizens have the right to protest and also to attend the trial of one of their own.”
