The Nigerian National Petroleum Company (NNPC) Limited has mandated all management staff who are within 15 months to the end of their time to retire.
In a Tuesday morning announcement, the company declared that the affected workers would retire immediately to support its business objectives.
The national oil firm shared this information on its X (Twitter) account, stating that it is necessary to rejuvenate the workforce to achieve our strategic business goals.
In addition to the recent exit of three executive vice presidents, other management staff with less than 15 months to statutory retirement will be exiting the company effective September 19, 2023”.
