Coronavirus cases have jumped to 22 in Nigeria, POLITICS NIGERIA can report.
On Saturday, the Federal Ministry of Health confirmed 10 new cases of COVID-19 in the country.
According to the Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC), three of the new cases are recorded in the Federal Capital Territory while seven are in Lagos.
“Nine out of the ten cases have travel history outside Nigeria in the last one week. The 10th case is a close contact of a confirmed case.”
This has brought the total number of cases recorded in Nigeria to 22.
