“No Single Govt Finishes Every Job” — Presidency Defends Leaving Behind Incomplete Projects

The Presidency has defended President Muhammadu Buhari’s inability to complete certain projects in Nigeria before his term ends on May 29.

POLITICS NIGERIA reports that according to an article issued on Thursday night by Femi Adesina, the Special Assistant to the President on Media and Publicity, Buhari is finishing his term well.

Adesina stated that several projects, such as the Lagos-Ibadan Expressway, Second Niger Bridge, and many others, will be completed before the president leaves office and hands over power to President-elect Bola Tinubu in the coming weeks.

He wrote, “The Lagos-Ibadan Expressway is coming. The Second Niger Bridge and many others are coming before the administration touches down on May 29. No single government finishes all the jobs that need to be done in a country. Not anywhere in the world.

“President Buhari has done his honest bit. He has succeeded well. And his footprints will be indelible on the sands of time”.
