Veteran Nollywood actor, director, and Lagos State House of Assembly Assembly member Desmond Olusola Elliot has addressed recent allegations questioning his sexuality.
In a recent interview on TVC, Elliot dismissed the rumours, describing them as baseless and unworthy of a response.
His words: “Why would I respond to an allegation that neither increases nor decreases my life?
“It’s an opinion someone has conceived. For me to come out and say it’s true or not isn’t necessary as long as I’m impacting people positively.”
In a clear refutation of the allegation, 50-year-old Elliot stated, “I am not gay.”
He also expressed concerns about bloggers’ unchecked influence and called on the government to consider regulating such platforms.
Recall that a controversial blogger, Gistlover, had previously listed Elliot among several public figures allegedly involved in homosexuality.
