NPower NEXIT: How beneficiaries can receive loans of up to N3 million – FG

The National Coordinator of the National Social Investment Programmes (NSIPs), Dr Umar Bindir, on Monday advised npower batches A and B beneficiaries to take advantage of the Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN) loan package, to be self-reliant.

POLITICS NIGERIA reports that at the end of the ongoing five-day NEXIT training, npower beneficiaries who qualify will receive loans of up to three million Naira.

This newspaper learned that out of the 467,183 trainees who indicated interest, 75,600 will participate in the first phase of the NEXIT orientation programme.

At the flag off ceremony which took place today, Monday, at the Press Centre, Radio House Abuja, Minister of Humanitarian Affairs, Disaster Management and Social Development, Sadiya Farouq, who was represented by the Permanent Secretary, Bashir Nura Alkali, thanked President Muhammadu Buhari for his administration’s support for the NSIPs.

The famed npower scheme, a component of the NSIPs, is domiciled in the Federal Ministry of Humanitarian Affairs. Authorities say it is key to helping Nigerian youths acquire and develop life-long skills that ensure they become solution providers and entrepreneurs in their communities.
