Two Nigerian Security and Civil Defence Corps (NSCDC) officers have been killed in an attack in Benue State, POLITICS NIGERIA reports.
The security agents were killed while on duty on Friday at a waterside vicinity in Wadata axis of Makurdi Local Government Area (LGA).
The NSCDC personnel encountered some armed invaders who opened fire on them.
About two weeks ago, the Defence Headquarters vowed to track down the masterminds of recent Benue killings.
At the time, the House of Representatives fumed at President Muhammadu Buhari and the various heads of security agencies for failing in their responsibility of protecting Nigerians.
The House had through a motion it considered, called for the resignation of the National Security Adviser (NSA), Babagana Mongunu.
