Governor of Edo State, Godwin Obaseki is in high spirits after clinching the heavily contested gubernatorial ticket of the opposition Peoples Democratic Party, PDP.
Obaseki obtained the ticket after three other aspirants stepped down for him. The primaries held on Thursday in Benin city was very peaceful and devoid of violence.
The governor thanked the people of Edo state and the PDP for believing in him.
