Aisha Yesufu, a prominent social critic and staunch supporter of Peter Obi, the Labour Party (LP) presidential candidate, has declared that Obi is her President.
POLITICS NIGERIA reports that Yesufu made this declaration on Monday through her verified Twitter account.
This declaration comes just hours ahead of the scheduled inauguration of Bola Tinubu as Nigeria’s President-elect, which is set to take place today, Monday, May 29.
At 71 years old, Bola Tinubu emerged as the winner of the controversial presidential election held on February 25, promising to restore hope in the nation.
However, he faces significant challenges in the aspects of the economy and security.
As he prepares to take over from the two-term President Muhammadu Buhari, Tinubu confronts daunting issues such as a high inflation rate, soaring levels of debt, and an alarming increase in cases of kidnappings for ransom.
Notably, Tinubu’s victory is being legally contested by his two closest rivals, Peter Obi and Atiku Abubakar, who have challenged the election results in court.
