An Advocate for Good Governance, Mr. Oke Umurhohwo has lauded the appointment of Rt. Hon. Festus Ovie Agas, as new Chief of Staff to Governor Arthur Ifeanyi Okowa.
Mr. Umurhohwo who described the choice of Agas as a reward for dedication and competence said his varied skills and experiences garnered over the years in serving Delta people in different capacities, will prove handy in assisting Governor Okowa’s zeal to move the State forward.
“I congratulate Rt. Hon. Festus Ovie Agas on his appointment as Chief of Staff to the Governor of Delta, His Excellency, Gov. Ifeanyi Okowa. I also commend the governor for consistently making the best selections and appointments for the development of the state,” the young Ughelli-born advocate said.
“Rt. Hon. Agas is a highly experienced, resourceful, disciplined and industrious politician who possess the requisite abilities to excel in his new role as Chief of Staff to the state governor. .
“I do not doubt that he will reciprocate the huge trust that the appointment represents and help Governor Okowa in delivering great gains to the good people of Delta state.”
Umurhohwo, however, enjoined Deltans to sustain their support for the Governor Okowa-led government, saying the addition of Rt. Hon. Agas to the team will further position the state for greater dividends and development under the Okowa-led administration.
