The founder of the Harvesters International Christian Centre, Bolaji Idowu has denied claims of his involvement in real estate fraud allegations.
Speaking barely 24 hours after news of the arrest and interrogation by the Force Criminal Investigation Department of the Nigeria Police, Idowu said he is not on to real estate business.
Addressing how congregation during his church’s daily early morning prayer session – Next Level Prayers – the clergyman said he is not into fraud either.
His words, “Over the last 24 hours, there has been a lot of news about me on social media – about this and that.”
The pastor also denied having properties on Nigeria as alleged.
According to him, the only property he currently owns is one bequeathed to him by his late parents.
“I do not have any property in Nigeria. The only property I have in Nigeria is the one bequeathed to me. So, there is no property that I have or bought in Nigeria,
“Someone said I received billions into my account. My accounts are public; you can check if I have ever received billions in them. It is just a lot of things going on in the press, but this is not the forum to address that,” he stated.
“Some of these things, as you are reading them, I am also reading them,” Pastor Bolaji said.
