The Osun State Governor, Gboyega Oyetola, has reacted to the death of Kogi State Governor, Yahaya Bello’s mother.
Mr Bello’s mother, Hajia Hauwa Oziohu Bello, died on Sunday at the age of 101.
In his consolation message, Mr Oyetola’s via his Chief Press Secretary, Ismail Omipidan, said late Hajia Hauwau devoted her life transforming the lives of her children for good.
“Although the late Hauwau was an old woman, the death of a beloved one is usually devastating no matter how old the person maybe.”
“Let’s, however, be consoled by the fact that she lived an exemplary life worthy of emulation. May Allah comfort you, the people of the State and your immediate family.”
“My deep condolences go to the entire family as well as the people of Kogi State. I pray Allah grant her Aljanat Firdaus and give Governor Bello and the entire people of Kogi State the fortitude to bear this irreplaceable loss,” the governor wrote.
