The presidential candidate of the Social Democratic Party (SDP) for the 2023 election, Adewole Adebayo, has claimed that many elections in Nigeria were rigged.
POLITICS NIGERIA reports that speaking on Sunday Politics programme on Channels TV, Adebayo accused the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), All Progressives Congress (APC), and other ‘big’ parties of failing to address the country’s challenges.
“It has been judicially determined that the elections were rigged. It is not in doubt,” Adebayo said.
“INEC itself says that the past elections were rigged, and they are trying to use BIVAS and other technologies to stop the rigging. So let no party boast about past achievements.”
The presidential hopeful stated that if Nigeria’s electoral process is truly free, fair, and credible, his party, the SDP, can triumph in the 2023 poll. According to him, the SDP has the solution to Nigeria’s problems.
