Pastor Enoch Adeboye, the General Overseer of the Redeemed Christian Church of God, has prophesied that the Naira will not only bounce back but surpass the dollar in value.
Adeboye gave this prediction during RCCG’s Thanksgiving service on Sunday, September 3, themed ‘Uncommon Miracles’.
The renowned Nigerian clergy went down memory lane to when the Naira competed with the dollar.
He declared: “The days when Naira will be stronger will come back; those glorious days will return when that happens you will know.”
The man of God explained that miracles connoted something that is unique, stressing that a lot of times they may not be comprehensible by many.
He explained how God granted him usual testimonies, some of which many people couldn’t believe.↳
Adeboye said: “Miracle is totally unusual. God can give you a miracle that will be difficult to share.”
Meanwhile, the naira on Friday, September 1, appreciated by 2.93 percent to close at N740.38 per dollar at the investors and exporters (I&E) window.
The I&E window is Nigeria’s official exchange rate window.
Data from FMDQ Securities Exchange, a platform that oversees foreign exchange (FX) trading in Nigeria, showed that the Nigerian currency hit an intra-day trading high of N800 and a low of N700 — but closed trading at N740.
FMDQ quoted an opening rate of N775.17 to the dollar on Friday.
