Pastor Ighodalo identifies Nigeria’s biggest problem

Lead Pastor of Trinity House Church, Lagos State, Pastor Ituah Ighodalo, has identified “selfishness” as Nigeria’s biggest problem.

POLITICS NIGERIA recalls that last month, Big Tent — a coalition of political parties, civil society organisations — was convened by Professor Pat Utomi, a former presidential candidate. Ighodalo is part of that movement.

Speaking as a guest on Channels TV’s Politics Today on Wednesday evening, Pastor Ighodalo declared that Nigeria’s biggest problem is selfishness – on the part of the leaders. He explained that Nigeria must exit politics of big men.

He also expressed his belief that the colonial masters laid the foundation for Nigeria’s problems, citing their divide and rule policy.

The preacher urged like-minds to team up with the Big Tent and chart a new path for the development of Nigeria.

Some other persons in the coalition include Prof Bayo Olukoshi, Prof Leslye Obiorah, Prof Jibril Ibrahim, Prof Ugo Nwokeji, Prof Sam Guobadia, Dr Muiz Banire, Sir Tola Mobolurin, Charles Orbih and Dare Dairo.
