The Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) has announced the appointment of Honourable Amina Divine Arong, from Cross River State, as the Party’s new National Woman Leader.
Arong fills the vacancy left by Professor Stella Effah-Attoe, who passed away in October 2023.
She holds a Diploma in Banking and Finance and a Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting and has a long history of commitment to the Party’s growth.
Arong has played a leading role in mobilising women and youth groups at various levels across the country and has been actively involved in conducting Party primaries and congresses, the PDP noted.
In a statement, the PDP congratulated Arong on her appointment and urged her to utilise her skills and experience to work with other members of the National Working Committee to ensure the Party’s continued stability, growth, and success.
