The Kogi State Chapter of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) has cleared the air on recent media reports claiming that Senator Dino Melaye had been suspended over allegations of anti-party activities in the State.
POLITICS NIGERIA reports that the PDP in a statement released on Wednesday and signed by Farouk Yahaya, the State Secretary of the party, denied having any intention of suspending the governorship aspirant.
The Kogi State PDP used the statement as an opportunity to issue a warning to troublemakers and those who seek to cause chaos within the party, stating that it remains resolute and is focused on the upcoming primary election.
The party thereafter urged its members and the public to disregard what it called “fake news” and not be misled by false information.
