Timothy Osadolor, a member of the National Executive Committee (NEC) of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), has disclosed that the party’s leadership will soon address the self-confessed anti-party activities of former Ekiti State governor, Ayodele Fayose.
POLITICS NIGERIA reports that in a recent appearance on Channels TV’s ‘Politics Today’, Fayose openly admitted, “I worked against him (Atiku) hundred per cent.”
He further emphasised that Nigeria is larger than any political party, including the PDP and even Asiwaju Bola Tinubu himself, stating, “I am not a man that will hide my action. I never worked for the PDP during the last election. I am not a liar and a pretender. I did not work for the PDP.”
Reacting to Fayose’s declaration, Timothy Osadolor expressed his disdain, referring to Fayose as shameless.
The PDP’s Deputy National Youth Leader, speaking to The Punch, said, “The confirmation by former Governor Fayose that he engaged in anti-party activities without shame or remorse is only meant to convince those who were unaware. For those of us who know better, witnessing Governor Fayose confessing his acts of indiscipline, sabotage, and anti-party behavior did not come as a surprise. If he had any moral compass, he would choose the honorable path of resignation after this confession.”
Osadolor affirmed that the PDP will address Fayose’s actions, stating, “Will the PDP be able to address him? Yes, the party will be speaking soon.”
