Senator Dino Melaye and close ally of Ex-vice president, Atiku Abubakar stunned party members at the just concluded PDP 2023 presidential primaries, when he lifted Governor Aminu Tambuwal in the air.
Tambuwal announced that he would step down for Atiku in the interest of the party amidst cheers when an overjoyed Melaye approached the Sokoto Governor, hugged and lifted him up.
POLITICS NIGERIA reports that Atiku emerged victorious defeating Rivers Governor, Nyesom Wike and several others.
