Joe Igbokwe, a chieftain of the All Progressives Congress (APC) has said that some people who misrepresented his party “are now knocking and banging at the door asking to key in”.
Igbokwe said this on his known Facebook page on Tuesday.
“Those who said that APC is a Boko Haram party or Islamic party are now knocking and banging at the door asking to key in. The mouth that spoke evil will speak good one day,” he wrote.
POLITICS NIGERIA reports that Igbokwe has been the Publicity Secretary of the State chapter of the defunct Action Congress (AC), which later fused into Action Congress of Nigeria (ACN) and metamorphosed into the APC since 2007, and has been the Pioneer Chairman of Conference of APC Publicity Secretaries across Nigeria since 2014.
Originally from Nnewi in Anambra State, southeast Nigeria, he currently serves as Special Adviser for Drainage and Water Resources to Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu of Lagos.
