Festus Keyamo, the Minister of State for Labour and Employment, on Thursday said the two main opposition parties, the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) and the Labour Party, lost the 2023 presidential election because the two parties were “fragmented”.
POLITICS NIGERIA reports that according to Keyamo, a Senior Advocate of Nigeria (SAN), the PDP and Labour Party ‘handed the APC victory’ at last Saturday’s poll.
Atiku Abubakar is the presidential candidate of the PDP, with Peter Obi, representing the Labour Party.
While Atiku came second behind Bola Tinubu, the candidate of the All Progressives Congress (APC) who is president-elect, Obi emerged third.
