
The 2023 Labour Party presidential candidate, Peter Obi, has donated N90 million to the Agulu community in Anambra State.
Obi made the donation as part of his efforts to contribute to the well-being of the community.
The former Anambra State governor also donated two Innoson vehicles for the local vigilante group in the community.
In a post made on X by Morris Monye, the Interim Director of Mobilisation for the Obidient Movement, a breakdown of the donation shows that N50 million was donated to the Agulu Microfinance bank to support Small and Medium-Size Enterprises (SMEs).
In addition, N10 million was donated to the Agulu Skill Acquisition Centre while N30M to the Agulu Progressive Union(APU) women’s wing.
He added that the Innoson vehicle – two pickups – were donated to facilitate the activities of the Agulu vigilante service to the people.
