Peter Obi, the 2023 presidential candidate for the Labour Party has paid a condolence visit to the family of the late Edwin Clark.
Obi arrived at the residence of the late leader of the Pan Niger Delta Forum (PANDEF) at about 4 pm on Tuesday, February 18.
Shortly after the former governor of Anambra State arrived the Clark’s family home, an ex-Inspector General of Police, Mike Okiro entered the place.
At the Clark’s residence both men signed the condolence register.
Okiro wrote on the register, “We have lost a father, we lost a gem. May your soul rest in peace.
Other dignitaries who visited the family to condole with them over the passing of the PANDEF leader include a former governor of Bayelsa State and the Senator representing Bayelsa West, Seriake DIckson; the lawmaker representing Delta South District, James Manager; a former 2023 Kaduna governorship election candidate, Jonathan Asake.
Others include the president of the Middle Belt Forum, Pogu Bitrus; the Head of Store Management, Office of the Presidential Amnesty Programme, Kem Ajieh; Regina Omo-Agege and a former Head of the Civil Service, Oladapo Afolabi.
