JUST IN: Peter Obi visits Abuja hospital, school, donates N20 million

The 2023 presidential candidate of the Labour Party, Peter Obi, visited a hospital and secondary school in Abuja, Nigeria’s capital city, on Monday.

Obi visited the Anglican Hospital Diocese of Kubwa and the Anglican Comprehensive Secondary School, Kubwa, where he donated the sum of N10 million each.

This particular visit to the school and hospital comes barely 24 hours after Obi was seen at the inauguration of Pope Leo at the Vatican City.

A video seen by Politics Nigeria showed the former governor of Anambra State being swamped by students of the school in excitement.

Recall that Obi had earlier said that he is in coalition with ending hunger, poverty, and corruption in Nigeria.

This remark followed claims by members of Atiku Abubakar’s camp who claimed that the former vice president has thrown a vice presidential deal for Obi ahead of the 2027 presidential election.
