Plagued By Crisis, APC Vows to Reclaim Adamawa From PDP, Gives Details

Despite the ongoing crisis among chieftains and political bigwigs of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Adamawa State, the party has vowed to reclaim the state.

The move by the party to secure Adamawa’s number one seat stems from the constitution of a reconciliation committee by the APC.

The party assured that it would wrestle power from the PDP in the state in the 2027 general elections.

Led by Senator Muhammed Mana, the committee has been saddled with the responsibility of resolving the longstanding battle between members top politicians within the party.

Speaking after a courtesy visit to the national chairman of the APC, Abdullahi Ganduje, in Abuja on Thursday, the committee chairman said the team would do its best to address the internal crisis rocking the party in Adamawa state.

According to Mana, his team will focus on engaging with members who are aggrieved and ensure that grassroots connections are rebuilt and further strengthened.

Acknowledging that Adamawa is in a critical condition, Mana said the APC is working to win as many seats as possible in the 2027 general elections.

He said, “Adamawa is a critical state, and we are committed to ensuring APC wins majority seats in 2027. We will reach out to those who felt sidelined during the primaries and general elections to unify the party under the APC banner.

“The committee plans to start its efforts immediately by engaging party members at the unit, ward, and local government levels. Our goal is to create a platform for unity and prepare the next generation of leaders,” Mana stated.
