Three suspects have been arrested by the Delta State Police Command in connection to the brutal murder of Chief Sylvester Efeurhobo, a notable chieftain of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Agbarho, Ughelli North Local Government Area of Delta State.
As previously reported by POLITICS NIGERIA, the APC supporter was shot dead by unknown gunmen in his residence on Sunday night.
Chief Efeurhobo was the Chairman of a pro-APC Support Group, called the Achievers Group, in Agbarho, and was known for his unwavering loyalty to the party.
The Delta State Police Command spokesperson, DSP Bright Edafe, confirmed the arrests on Tuesday in Asaba, stating that three individuals had been apprehended in connection to the murder, which occurred on April 9, 2023, at his home in Agbarho town.
“Yes, it is confirmed, but I cannot say whether he was a party man or not, but we are still investigating, so far three suspects that have been arrested,” he said.
