Police Raid Auxiliary’s Residence Again, Recover Grenade and Additional Weapons

The Oyo State Police Command has once again raided a property belonging to Mr. Mukaila Lamidi, popularly known as ‘Auxilliary’, the embattled Chairman of the Disciplinary Committee of the Park Management System (PMS).

POLITICS NIGERIA reports that during the operation, law enforcement officials successfully seized a rocket-propelled grenade (RPG) and various other hazardous weapons.

Although Mr. Lamidi was not present at his residence along the Olodo section of the Ibadan-Iwo road when the police conducted the raid, they uncovered a significant arsenal of dangerous items, including an RPG, seven additional weapons, ammunition, magazines, cutlasses, an axe, and various other objects.

This latest raid follows a previous operation in which the police discovered sophisticated firearms at one of Mr. Lamidi’s hideouts in the Isebo area of Alakia.

Mr. Lamidi remains on the run, fearing arrest and potential prosecution.

To add to the mounting tension, gunmen suspected to be associated with Mr. Lamidi reportedly roamed major garages last night, engaging in indiscriminate shootings, presumably as part of their efforts to assert control.

In the wake of the dissolution of the Disciplinary Committee of the PMS, stakeholders within the transportation sector have united to foster peace and progress among the various transport groups.

Prominent figures such as former Deputy Governor of the state, Ambassador Taofeek Arapaja, and Senator Ayoola Agboola have called for a resolution and peaceful coexistence among all parties involved.
