Police operatives in Kwara State have arrested 28 suspects over allegations of armed robbery, kidnappings and cultism.
The suspects were arrested with sophisticated weapons adding that the sum of N6.4 million cash was recovered from members of criminal gangs.
Commissioner of Police, Victor Olaiya made this known while parading the suspects at the State Police Command headquarters.
Olaiya expressed concerns over the challenges associated with the prosecution of criminal suspects in court due to the technicalities involved.
He, however said all is being done to get speedy convictions of criminal elements in the state.
