Pictures of potential 2020 JAMB/UTME and Direct Entry candidates queuing to register for the national identity card at the National Identity Management Commission (NIMC) office in Alausa, Ikeja on Thursday. has surfaced.
It is via the registration that each candidate will get a National Identity Number (NIN).
Recall that the Joint Admission and Matriculation Board (JAMB) has mandated it for each candidate to register for the NIN.
JAMB Registrar, Prof. Ishaq Oloyede had insisted that in line with the law, no candidate will be allowed to register for this year’s exam without having a NIN.
Registration for the exam is between January 13 to February 17. The examination body has said that there won’t be an additional opportunity to extend the deadline.
