President Muhammadu Buhari has bestowed prestigious national honour awards upon prominent Nigerians.
POLITICS NIGERIA reports that the esteemed list of recipients includes respected personalities such as Emeka Anyaoku, the former Secretary-General of the Commonwealth, and several distinguished Justices of the Supreme Court: Inyang John Okoro, Chima Centus Nweze, Uwani Musa Abba Aji, Mohammed Lawal Garba, Amina Adamu Augie, Adamu Jauro, Tijani Abubakar, Ibrahim Musa Mohammed Saulawa, and Emmanuel Akomaye Agim.
Influential figures like Bisi Akande and Olusegun Osoba, former Governors of Ogun State, have also been recognised for their contributions.
Additionally, individuals such as Godwin Emefiele, the Governor of the Central Bank of Nigeria, Laolu Akande, the Chief Press Secretary to Vice President Osinbajo, and prominent personalities like Garba Shehu, Tolu Ogunlesi, Bayo Onanuga, Festus Keyamo, Babatunde Ogala, Isa Ali Pantami, Geoffrey Onyeama, billionaire Terry Waya, filmmaker Kunle Afolayan, and others have been included among the recipients.
The grand presentation of these esteemed awards is scheduled for June 1st.
