President Muhammadu Buhari has setup a team comprising of government officials to meet with social media giant, Twitter to dialogue on the recent suspension of the application’s activities in Nigeria.
Buhari, a few weeks ago suspended Twitter after the micro-blogging platform deleted a tweet from his personal handle citing ‘genocidal violence’.
On Tuesday, the following individuals were selected to represent the Nigerian government at the meeting;
- Alhaji Lai Mohammed
- Alhaji Abubakar Malami
- Shiek Isa Alli Ibrahim
- Geoffrey Onyeama
- Babatunde Fashola
- Festus Keyamo
