Senators and newly elected members of the House of Representatives convened with President Bola Tinubu at the Presidential Villa today.
POLITICS NIGERIA reports that the meeting had prominent figures such as Ahmad Lawan, the Senate President, and Femi Gbajabiamila, the Speaker of the House of Representatives.
Notably, lawmakers-elect from various political parties, including that of the ruling All Progressive Congress (APC), the main opposition People’s Democratic Party (PDP), Labour Party (LP), also graced the meeting.
While specific details remain undisclosed, it is widely believed that the discussions revolve around the ongoing power struggle within the incoming 10th National Assembly’s leadership.
