President Tinubu returns to Nigeria after G20 Leaders’ Summit in Brazil [VIDEO]

President Bola Ahmed Tinubu has returned to Nigeria following his participation in the 19th G20 Leaders’ Summit held in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil.

The President, accompanied by his wife, First Lady Oluremi Tinubu, arrived at the Nnamdi Azikiwe International Airport, Abuja, on Saturday evening.

President Tinubu attended the summit at the invitation of Brazil’s President Luiz Inácio Lula da Silva, which took place from November 18 to 19.

During the summit, Tinubu reaffirmed Nigeria’s commitment to the newly launched Global Alliance Against Hunger and Poverty, a key initiative spearheaded by Brazil’s presidency of the G20.

The alliance seeks to address food insecurity and economic inequalities on a global scale, with Tinubu emphasizing Nigeria’s readiness to collaborate on these pressing issues.

In addition to his contributions to the G20 discussions, President Tinubu held several bilateral meetings with world leaders and facilitated the signing of a Letter of Intent with three prominent Brazilian companies.

ThE agreement aims to bolster Nigeria’s livestock sector, promoting sustainable development and enhancing agricultural productivity in the country.

The summit provided Nigeria with a platform to engage with other nations on critical global challenges, positioning the country as a proactive player in international economic and developmental collaborations.
