The PDP New Generation has lamented the death of High Chief Raymond Anthony Aleogho Dokpesi.
In a statement made available to Politics Nigeria, the PDP group commiserated with his family.
“We commiserate with Daar Communications family, the Peoples Democratic party [PDP] and the Dokpesis. Dokpesi was very instrumental in the promotion of the PDP, anywhere anytime. A peaceful personality who is determined to always reinforce anything to make Nigerians unite.
This loss won’t be easy to come by, as Dokpesi has left a big shoe that will be unoccupied for a long time. He was the Organising Committee Chairman of the People’s Democratic Party National Conference in 2015. He is the Owner of Africa Independent Television [AIT] that operates ‘Free To Air’ in Nigeria as the largest privately operated terrestrial television network, with stations in twenty-four out of thirty-six states in Nigeria.
The PDP New Generation can’t forget Raymond Dokpesi’s ever welcoming attitudes to young people. He is renowned for supporting the Youths, irrespective of their religion and ethnicity.
We pray that his immediate family finds it easy to be consoled by his goodwill that has attracted condolences messages from all over the World.”
